Dana's Delights

My favorite moment is when someone tastes our desserts for the first time. Their reaction after that first bite never gets old. It's always a mixture of surprise and satiation. That moment has always been my reward. I bake and prepare my desserts  with the same love and care, that I've put into baking for my family since I was 8 years old. Each bite is meant to be an experience. I love what I do and it shows in every morsel.

Dana's Delights Home Bakery is a product of the love I have for my two amazing sons. In August of 2015, I had been diagnosed with a debilitating spinal condition, which would soon result in my losing the use of my right leg. I had to undergo major surgery to avoid paralysis. Everything happened so fast. I had to stop working and look forward to spending 6 months in recovery and rehabilitation. In a single moment, my life had shifted. I was living in constant fear because I didn't have a way to provide for my family while I worked on walking again. I knew I had to do something...ANYTHING. This is how Dana's Delights was born. All I knew was that I could bake and that my family and friends loved everything I made. I realized that I had a gift and this was the best excuse I ever had to use it. Life had given me lemons, so I made lemon meringue. My desserts are meant to be more than just tasty treats. I take pride in every cupcake or cookie I make. I use quality ingredients and no shortcuts to give you delicious gourmet desserts. Dana's Delights is more than just a bakery, it's a blessing, and I'm excited to share this blessing with you.
